When does the church receive members?
The church generally receives new members at Pentecost and in November at the time of the Annual Meeting. New members are also welcomed with baptism and at the time of confirmation.

What does it mean to be a member of the GCC?
Generally membership is a sign of a call to a deeper level of commitment to the spiritual and community life of the church. Sometimes this happens soon after visiting and often after a year or two of regular attendance.  It may also include:

  • a desire to learn from living over time with others by becoming a member of a committee or contributing in an ongoing way to the life and prosperity of the church.
  • a personal commitment to grow in faith as a member of the GCC community.
  • a willingness to give of your time and money as is possible to support the ongoing operation of the church.
