On Juneteenth weekend (June 19 – June 21, 2020), thousands of us will mobilize into the streets together to #DefendBlackLives and make demands to:
1. Defund the Police
2. Invest in Black Communities
3. Resign Donald Trump
Juneteenth, celebrated on June nineteenth, is a day that honors Black freedom and Black resistance. This 6.19 is a National Day of Action. In addition to our three demands above we will also be exploring the Regions Black, Indigenous and People of Colors History.
