Guilford Community Church will have its usual Easter Sunrise at 6:45am and family service at 10am on Sunday, April 12, with the added blessing of online service right into your home computer or phone!
At 6:45am Rev Lise Sparrow will broadcast (click here: LIVE on ZOOM) from a hilltop in Westminster West, hoping to catch the sunrise over mountains Wantastiquet and Monadnock.
At 10am (click here: WATCH WITH US) the service will be as usual as possible, with music prepared by a host of church musicians, with music prepared to enhance our Easter celebration. “Are You Ready” a gospel favorite, “Now the Green Blade Riseth”, “Jesus Christ Is Risen Today”, “Billings’ Easter Anthem” and the “Hallejuah Chorus” by Handel are all included in the service. Teens from the church will read scripture for the day and Rev. Lise Sparrow will share the final release of Noah and the animals from the Ark for the children’s story. The homily for the day has extra meaning, given the social isolation most are experiencing. The congregation will offer prayers for all affected by the CO-VID virus and a chance to share in a ZOOM coffee hour after the service. Everyone is welcome to join both services and the ZOOM call after. All links are on the Guilford Church webpage at guilfordc.sg-host.com.
