Over the November 2/3 weekend the church will mark the passing of loved ones in honor of All Saints Day. Saturday at 2pm those wishing to remember loved ones will gather to plant tulip bulbs. Sunday the service will include the lighting of candles for those who have passed.
It is also a service of holy communion. Rev Lise Sparrow will offer the sermon and share the story of Elisha and Elijah with the children and then they will proceed downstairs to bake cookies for folks at the Drop In Center. Andy Davis will lead the choir in two anthems: “Swing Low Sweet Chariot” and “Soon I Will be Done with the Troubles of the World”. Other hymns include “In the Morning When I Rise”, “Be Still My Soul” and “Peace I Leave with You”. Everyone is welcome.
